Prepare for your spray tan appointment
To ensure the best spray tan
Exfoliate! Your tan will be more even and last longer!
Make sure you plan your day with the thought in mind that you will need to stay away from all moisture until your tan has had time to develop (8-10 hours). Do not wear any products to your appointment, including deodorant, lotion, perfume, and makeup. All other beauty appointments need to be scheduled the day before or after your spray tan. Waxing should be done a few days BEFORE your tan.
What to Wear after your tan
You will want to wear dark loose clothing such as leggings, shorts, a t-shirt or robe.
No denim.
How soon can you shower?
Leave the solution on for 8-10 hours before showering for best results. We also offer an Express solution that is worn for 2-4 hours depending on how dark you’d like your tan.
When it’s time to rinse off, please only use lukewarm water.
Pat your skin dry.
Avoid using products that are designed to exfoliate the skin such as moisturizers that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids, as this will prematurely fade your tan. I suggest not using any Dove or Bath and Body Works products after your spray tan.
Keep your tan longer Apply a moisturizer twice daily to lengthen the life of your tan.
Avoid chlorinated pools, salt water, spas, and excessive heat such as saunas and steam rooms as this will dramatically accelerate the fading process.
